Thank you for your interest in enrolling
at Kirwan State School. We have provided the below information to
answer some frequently asked questions.
Catchment area
Kirwan State School is an Enrolment Managed school. Please refer to our Enolment Management Plan for more information. Students who live within the school catchment area are accepted in the first instance. You can also check the enrolment catchment map online through the Ed Map - Catchment Maps to find your home’s street address to ensure you are within our catchment area. All out-of-catchment enrolment
requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis dependent on spaces
within the required year level.
Any families who live our of our catchment area should contact the office on (07) 4799 1888.
Enrolment packs are available from our school office. Families who reside in our zone will also need to provide the documents listed below.
- your child's original birth certificate
- your child's passport visa and parent's passport visas (If Applicable)
- 1 form of proof of residency
- renters - lease agreement
- current utilities notice (plese note that it must be the most recent)
- your child's most recent NAPLAN report (If applicable or from interstate)
- your child’s most recent student report card (If applicable or from interstate)
When you have completed the necessary
forms and have the required documents we will organise an interview, usually with
our school principal or deputy principal. The enrolment package
details what you need to bring with you to this interview.
